Engineer Sinan Abdulwali Al-Tam was born on September 21, 1988, in Sana’a, Yemen, and currently resides in the capital, Sana’a. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Sana’a University, specializing in Power & Machine Engineering, and is considered one of the leading pioneers in the clean and sustainable energy sector in Yemen and the region.

Engineer Al-Tam has over 12 years of experience covering all aspects of engineering and management, from project design and implementation, to team and resource management, strategy development, and company growth, building a fully integrated institutional environment. During these years, he founded and led Masdar Engineering for Renewable Energy, which has become one of the leading companies in providing solar and hybrid energy solutions in Yemen, with the capability to execute medium and large-scale projects across agricultural, industrial, residential, and service sectors.

Under his leadership, the company has executed projects with a total capacity exceeding 20 megawatts, including solar pumping systems, hybrid systems (Hybrid PV + Diesel or Hybrid On/Off), grid-connected systems, and off-grid energy solutions. The company has also expanded to supply the latest global products to ensure high-quality solutions, including Deye inverters and storage systems, Jinko Solar panels, Kayal circuit breakers, Top Cable Spanish cables, and other advanced equipment.
