As part of its ongoing efforts to support the transition to clean energy and enhance electricity efficiency in commercial establishments, Masdar Engineering for Renewable Energy has completed a new, landmark project. The project involves the supply, installation, and operation of a 230-kilowatt grid-connected solar energy system, serving three major hotels in Sana'a Governorate.

This project is part of a series of projects the company is implementing across various Yemeni governorates, aiming to provide modern and efficient energy solutions that contribute to reducing dependence on fossil fuels and lowering carbon emissions.
The grid-connected system is one of the most advanced solar energy systems available, allowing hotels to directly benefit from the energy produced during the day, while also feeding the surplus back into the public grid. This provides electricity stability and achieves tangible financial savings in the long term.

In a special statement, the General Manager of Masdar Engineering for Renewable Energy said:

"We are proud of this project, which reflects our customers' confidence in the quality of our services and the competence of our engineering team. Our goal is to help organizations transition to more sustainable and smarter energy systems that serve both the economy and the environment."

The beneficiary hotels expressed their great satisfaction with the project's results, noting that the system's stable performance contributed to an improved guest experience and significantly reduced daily operating costs.

With this achievement, Masdar Engineering for Renewable Energy continues its leadership in implementing solar energy projects in Yemen and affirms its commitment to actively contributing to a future based on clean and sustainable energy.
